Studies: * Bachelor Applied Science: Parks, Recreation and Heritage, Charles Sturt Uni, Albury

*2000 Visual Arts, Swan Hill Sunraysia Tafe

 

During and after university Caroline worked with the National Parks Service and traveled extensively around Australia , photographing dramatic landscapes, unique wildlife and intermit close-ups of textures and reflections on film. From 1994 to 1999 Caroline sold and exhibited her photography in her own and other Gallery’s on the Sunshine Coast , QLD.

 

Much of Caroline’s childhood was spent growing up in Swan Hill, country Victoria . In 1999 she moved back to her home town and worked in the Natural Science field again. With her husband and two children Caroline lives on their farm at Mystic Park . Both Caroline and her husband Josh are passionate about the environment and actively revegetating their farm when ever they have the time.    

 

Caroline (alias PAX) began to fulfil a growing ambition to paint and draw, completing 1 st year drawing, painting and black & white photography at the Swan Hill Tafe in the year 2000.

 

Since then Caroline has had regular solo and group exhibitions of her paintings and photography.

Caroline has ben commissioned to paint many murals, including at Wood Wood, Lake Charm, Kerang and

Moulamein.

 

In 2006 Caroline began teaching art to children in schools (as an artist in residence) and at the Swan Hill Art Gallery.   (click here for further details regarding art classes and Murals).

 

Always being interested in taking photos Caroline has been asked to photograph many friends and family weddings, even when not asked she is taking photos, seeing if she can get a unique shot of the happy couple. In 2010 Caroline begain to offer her photography skill professionally for weddings.

 

Caroline’s art is inspired by the local landscape and its resident character’s, it captures a moment in time of pure beauty and energy or just plain fun.
